Fry Notch Lean-To campsite to Andover NH - 14.6 miles hiked today -1946.3 total AT miles to date
Good day. We were able to make great time, averaging 1.5 mph over mostly gentle climbs and descents. We passed Dunn Notch with a couple of small waterfalls, went over a couple of relatively easy mountains (Wyman and Moody) which offered essentially the same views we’d been seeing the past few days. We pushed hard to get to the road crossing for our ride into Andover, and a brief stay at a local hostel for the usual amenities and resupply. We were able to get showered and laundered, resupply and get a meal at the local cafe (I had a great Maine Lobster roll), and then bunked down for the night.
We have less than 250 miles to go, and are targeting finishing at Khatadin by the end of the month.
