Day 18, Wednesday March 17, 2021

 

Judges 1 - 10


Mollie Ridge Shelter to Derrick Knob Shelter - 12.1 miles ending at 189.8.

Tough day. It rained on and off all day with cold and windy conditions. Over 20 significant climbs today with corresponding treacherous downhills following each climb.  Still some incredible views despite conditions.  No cell service throughout the day.





Reached the shelter around 5.  Completely full with all 12 slots already taken.  Mostly with people we’d been seeing on and off for the  past week.

We pitched our tents in the rain and hunkered down for the night.
